Job Description

If you’re a dedicated and empathetic Registered Nurse seeking a role with purpose, impact and ongoing professional growth, this is your opportunity to join one of Australia’s most trusted fertility care providers. As an IVF Nurse Coordinator with City Fertility, you will guide patients through one of the most meaningful healthcare journeys they will ever experience—offering clinical excellence with deep compassion every step of the way.

Position Purpose

As an IVF Nurse Coordinator, you play a central role in supporting patients through their fertility journey with clinical expertise, empathy and clear communication. You will confidently coordinate treatment cycles, lead patient education, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and uphold the highest standards of care. This role offers the unique opportunity to make a genuine impact—helping individuals and families move closer to their dream of a baby while growing your own professional capability in a supportive, valuesdriven environment. This part-time role (two days per week) is a 12-month fixed term contract covering parental leave and is based at our North Lakes (Brisbane) clinic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient treatment cycles, ensuring safe, timely and patientcentred care.
  • Provide clear and supportive patient education around treatment, medications and procedures.
  • Oversee and coordinate procedure bookings, ensuring accurate scheduling and proactive resolution of any conflicts or changes to ensure maintenance of efficient workflow.
  • Oversee pathology and referral workflows, escalating clinically significant results appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, privacy standards and highquality data entry.
  • Build collaborative working relationships with doctors, embryologists, admin staff and other teams.
  • Conduct patient education meetings independently and provide medication support within scope.
  • Mentor Level 1 and new nursing personnel through supervision and training.
  • Monitor nursing consumables and clinical supplies, maintaining stock accuracy.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, quality initiatives and continuous improvement.
  • Complete internal audits, incident reporting and compliance activities as required.
  • Provide occasional satellite clinic coverage and support outofhours care when needed.
  • Promote a positive, valuesaligned team culture across all clinic interactions.

What are we looking for?

  1. Current AHPRA Registered Nurse (Division 1) registration with strong clinical capability.
  2. Experience in IVF, women’s health or acute clinical settings, with a patientcentred mindset. Follicular tracking skills and experience will be highly regarded.
  3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate, support and build trust with patients.
  4. Strong organisational skills, accuracy in documentation and comfort with digital clinical systems.
  5. A collaborative, respectful team member, with the ability to work autonomously and who is committed to continuous learning and modelling City Fertility’s values of Compassion, Respect, Commitment, Quality and Communication.
