Are you passionate about science and making a difference in people’s lives? At City Fertility, we’re seeking two experienced Embryologists to join our dynamic City Fertility laboratory teams based in the Sydney CBD (NSW) and Gregory Hills (NSW). These roles offer the opportunity to combine technical excellence with compassionate care, directly influencing treatment success and supporting patients through one of life’s most meaningful journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced embryology and andrology procedures (ICSI, embryo grading, cryopreservation, biopsy, etc.)
- Conduct accurate fertilisation checks and embryo assessments
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and clinicians
- Review treatment plans and ensure compliance with best-practice standards
- Mentor and train junior team members
- Maintain strict adherence to protocols, compliance obligations, and accreditation requirements
- Support laboratory equipment maintenance and stock management
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide out-of-hours scientific support as part of an on-call roster
Successful Candidates will Bring
- Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant scientific field, with competency in advanced embryology and andrology techniques
- Minimum two years’ experience in an IVF laboratory environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain scientific concepts clearly
- High attention to detail and ability to work safely and efficiently in a compliance-driven setting
