We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to support Associate Professor David Greening and oversee the practice management of our Gregory Hills and Bowral clinics. This role brings together organisational expertise, collaborative team support and a genuine commitment to patient-centred care.
We are open to two options for the right candidate/s:
- Full-time role across both clinics, or
- Part-time job share arrangement working at Gregory Hills – Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Bowral – Tuesday, Thursday

Position Purpose
As Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Specialists and the Patient Services Manager to ensure the clinic operates seamlessly, with empathy and excellence at the heart of everything we do. You will manage a Specialist schedule, coordinate patient interactions and provide high-level administrative and operational support that enables the delivery of exceptional fertility care.
You will be a trusted point of contact, anticipating needs, resolving issues proactively and ensuring every detail is managed with precision and discretion. This role blends organisational expertise with compassionate communication, creating an environment where patients feel respected and supported and where clinical and administrative teams work in harmony. By maintaining strong governance standards, accurate billing processes and efficient workflows, you will contribute to the success of City Fertility and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Specialist’s diary, appointments and professional commitments
- Coordinate patient communications and treatment schedules
- Prepare documentation, reports, and correspondence for the Specialist
- Act as the first point of contact for Specialist-related queries and escalate issues appropriately
- Liaise with the Patient Services Manager to align clinic workflows and patient flow
- Ensure accurate Medicare billing, invoicing, and reconciliation for the Specialist’s patients
- Assist with banking, stock control, and consumables management as required
- Maintain compliance with privacy, healthcare legislation, and organisational policies
- Support the Patient Services team functions as required, ensuring a collaborative and flexible approach to clinic operations
- Support onboarding and orientation of new staff as directed by the Patient Services Manager
- Escalate risks, incidents, or non-compliance promptly to the Patient Services Manager
You will bring...
- Minimum 3 years' experience in medical practice or healthcare management, leading multidisciplinary teams
- Relevant qualifications in practice management, business or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of healthcare administration, including Medicare billing and financial reporting
- Proven leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach
