Job Description

City Fertility is seeking a patient focussed, supportive and enthusiastic Theatre Technician to join our team in Notting Hill, where you will support the Perioperative Team and contribute to positive patient experiences and excellent clinical care.

Your Role:

As a Theatre Technician working from Notting Hill, you will:

  • Care and maintenance of equipment essential for surgical procedures.
  • Assisting in day-to-day operation with patient positioning, theatre setups, cleaning and restocking of theatre and recovery areas.
  • Removing rubbish, linen, and other clinical waste.
  • Assisting with patient transfers to and from theatre recovery.

In addition to the above, you will also have the capacity to undertake heavy lifting.

Qualifications and skills we value:

We are looking for someone who is patient-focused, compassionate, supportive, and a team promoter. Ideally, you will bring the following to the role:

  • Certificate III in Operating Theatre Technician Practice or equivalent is desirable.
  • Support experience within an acute care environment essential.
  • Technician experience within an operating theatre will be highly regarded.
