About the Role

  • Patient and Clinical Services Manager
  • Full Time Permanent Position
  • Brisbane CBD 

The Patient & Clinical Services Manager position is an administration management and supervisory role responsible for the patient services department and Day Hospital.

The role oversees and performs the administrative tasks alongside Patient Services Administrators with the added responsibility of managing theatre bookings, rosters, employee performance, recruitment and escalated patient /clinician enquiries and accountability for all financial transactions. The role supports the director of nursing and General Manager.

The Patient & Clinical Services Manager requires a broad knowledge of reproductive medicine and technology, a thorough understanding of Medicare legislation, Private Health Fund claiming and has the ability to lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
 

About You (criteria)

You will be patient focused, compassionate, supportive and a team culture promoter.

Ideally you will bring the following to the role:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Administration, Medical/Health Administration
  • Minimum 2 years customer services experience
  • Minimum 2 years day hospital administration experience (preferred)
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience, mentoring skills and leadership
  • Experience in the field of Reproductive Technology (IVF) (advantageous)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Medical terminology
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office / Outlook skills
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with medical patient management software (Genie, Clinic to Cloud, Fydo, Dox, Simday)
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of Medicare legislation and Private Health fund claiming
  • Experience with accounts receivable, debt management and financial reporting
  • Ability to engage effectively with patients, clinicians, staff and relevant stakeholders
  • A willingness to embrace City Fertility's Mission and Values
  • Problem solving, critical thinking, decision maker
  • Ability to prioritise and delegate workloads to meet timelines and demand
  • Highly Effective Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coach, mentor and lead a large team of administrators across several departments within the business
  • Able to multitask whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
