About the Role
IVF Nurse Coordinator  ( Registered nurse) 
PART TIME / FIXED TERM - Maternity Leave cover
CLINIC LOCATION - Miranda City Fertility, located in Kareena Private Hospital 

The purpose of this role is to offer Independent quality care to patients and provide quality customer service to patients, clinicians, and other departments within the Fertility clinic and business. 

Desired Skills and Experience

About you (criteria) 

You will be patient focused, compassionate, supportive and a team culture promoter.

Ideally you will bring the following to the role:

  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualifications
  • Current AHPRA registration 
  • Min of 1-2 years' experience in IVF Nursing is ideal 
  • Min 3 years' experience in health industry
  • Experience in the field of ART (IVF) (advantageous) 
  • Ability to work as independently and as a team player
  • Basic / Intermediate MS Office / Outlook skills 
  • Basic / Intermediate skills in Healthcare IT Platforms
  • Ability to engage with patients and clinicians
  • Change Management and Continuous Improvement skills
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of legislative requirements to apply to protocols, policy, processes within a healthcare environment
  • A willingness to embrace City Fertility's Mission and Values
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Conflict resolution and grievance self-management 
  • Basic to Intermediate understanding of the reproductive system. 
  • Basic / Intermediate IVF terminology - ideal 
  • Basic / Intermediate health industry terminology 
  • Highly Effective Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Teamwork Skills 
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Problem solving, critical thinking, decision maker
  • Excellent time management
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Positive Self Awareness and ability to self-assess 

The following would be highly regarded:

 

  • Follicle Scanning and/or pathology collection
  • Donor and Surrogacy experience 
  • Experience in the field of ART (IVF) 
  • Current Basic Life Support or advance Life Support certification (or capacity to become certified)

Practices in accordance with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) National Competency Standards for Registered Nurses, National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and functions according to the Australian College of Operating Room Nurses (ACORN) Standards
